In the third quarter of 2024, the city-building game genre in Guatemala saw varied performance trends across the top five apps on the unified platform. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, reveals key insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts showed a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $284 in mid-August. Downloads experienced a significant rise towards the end of September, reaching approximately 246, while active users increased steadily from 1.5K to nearly 1.9K.

The performance of The Simpsons™: Tapped Out indicated a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting from $113 in late July and dropping to $29 by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 400 weekly, and active users exhibited minor fluctuations, maintaining a range between 3.1K and 3.5K.
